  1. # Prelude Scheme
  2. !!! Note
  3. This module builds on top of the shared [Lisp Base](lisp.md) module.
  4. ## lisp-mode
  5. Not much to say here, as `scheme-mode` is configured to use Prelude's
  6. default Lisp settings.
  7. ## Geiser
  8. This module bundles [Geiser](https://www.nongnu.org/geiser/), a popular interactive
  9. programming environment for Scheme. People familiar with Common Lisp's SLIME will
  10. feel right at home with Geiser.
  11. Note that Geiser supports many Scheme implementations:
  12. * Guile 2.2 or better
  13. * Chicken 4.8.0 or better
  14. * MIT/GNU Scheme 9.1 or better
  15. * Chibi Scheme 0.7 or better
  16. * Chez Scheme 9.4 or better
  17. * Gambit 4.9 or better
  18. * Racket 6.0 or better
  19. You can fire Geiser with `M-x geiser`.
